1. Booking & Deposit

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm all bookings. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
• If a booking is made online, the deposit will be charged at the time of booking, and your appointment will not be confirmed until payment is received.
• For certain treatments, a larger deposit may be required, which will be specified at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• We understand that things can come up. However, to avoid unnecessary charges, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
• In the event of a no-show or failure to attend the scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full cost of the treatment will be charged.
• For multiple cancellations or no-shows, we may request full payment upfront for future bookings.

3. Late Arrivals

• Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid delays for other clients.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and your deposit will be lost.

4. Refund Policy

• Deposits are non-refundable unless a valid reason prevents us from fulfilling the appointment. In such cases, we will work with you to either reschedule or refund the deposit.
• If you’re unhappy with the service, please inform us immediately so we can address your concerns. We strive to ensure that all our clients leave satisfied.

5. Health & Safety

• For the safety and comfort of our clients, a patch test is required for certain treatments, including hair colouring, eyelash extensions, and some beauty services.
• A consultation will also be carried out for specific treatments to ensure the best results and your safety. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment for any required patch tests or consultations.
• Please inform us of any medical conditions or allergies when booking your appointment, so we can take appropriate precautions.
• We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it may cause harm or discomfort to the client.

6. Children & Pets

• While we love having families around, it is advised that children and pets do not accompany you for specific treatments, including hot wax and chemical treatments, due to the nature of these services.
• We want to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

7. Personal Belongings

• We are not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. Please keep your belongings with you during your visit.

8. Prices and Variations

At Maryam Hair and Beauty, we strive to provide transparent pricing for all our services. However, the prices listed are indicative and may vary based on several factors, including:

• Therapist Time and Expertise – Some treatments may require more time or specialised skills, which may result in adjusted pricing.
• Length of Hair – For services such as haircuts, hair colouring, and certain hair treatments, prices may vary based on the length, thickness, or condition of the client’s hair.
• Pregnancy or Special Conditions – If a client is pregnant or has specific health conditions, certain treatments may require additional time, special products, or adjustments to the procedure, which could affect the price.
• Additional Circumstances – Other factors, such as the complexity of a treatment or last-minute requests, may also result in price adjustments.

Before proceeding with any service, our team will always provide a clear and updated price estimate. We believe in transparency, so if any changes to pricing are required, they will be discussed before the service is carried out.

9. Privacy and Respect for Clients

• We are committed to respecting the privacy and comfort of all our clients.
• Photography – As a hijabi-friendly salon, we respect the privacy of all our clients. We will never take images of your procedure or results without your explicit permission.
• Male Visitors – To maintain a comfortable environment for all clients, we do not allow male visitors to be seated in the waiting area. This policy ensures a more private and respectful atmosphere for our clients.
