A patch test checks that your skin will not react to the products we use. It is needed before hair colour, before brow and lash tinting, and before semi-permanent makeup. It protects you and means your main appointment can go ahead as planned.
A standard patch test is £10 and takes about ten minutes. A hair colour consultation with patch test is £15, a straightening or perming consultation is £15, a lash lift, extension or tint consultation is £10, and a semi-permanent makeup consultation with patch test is £25.
Book the patch test before your treatment appointment, not on the same day. Come in, let us apply the test, and you can leave within a few minutes.
Your colourist looks at your hair, asks what has been on it before, talks through what is realistic for the shade you want, and agrees the service and price with you. Balayage and ombre always start with a consultation.
18 White Church Lane, London E1 7QR, about seven minutes' walk from Aldgate East. We are open Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm, and the salon is women-only with an all-female team.
