Maryam Hair & Beauty is a ladies-only salon: every member of our team is a woman, and hijab-wearing clients are welcome in our screened, private area. We are at 18 White Church Lane, Whitechapel, about 22 minutes from Stratford station: the Central line to Mile End, then the District line to Aldgate East.
IPL works as a course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, and your therapist checks your skin and hair before you start. From Stratford and Westfield, the Central line gets you to Mile End in a few minutes.
Underarms, bikini line, abdomen or buttocks, and the full face are our quickest IPL sessions, around 30 minutes each.
Larger areas and full packages are available.
Hair grows in cycles, so IPL works best as a course of sessions a few weeks apart. It works best on darker hair and is not suitable for every skin tone, so we check before starting.

Your therapist checks your skin and hair, explains how many sessions you may need, and then treats the area.
